This privacy policy applies to the LegalVault app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") and its developer (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
1 What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application stores data locally on your device. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, bear in mind that you might not be able to utilize some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with them.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided them to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
Your data stays on your device and is never sent to external servers.
2 What information does the Application collect automatically?
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:
- Type of mobile device you use
- Your mobile device's unique device ID
- Your mobile operating system
- Information about the way you use the Application
3 Does the Application collect precise real time location information?
No. This Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
4 Does the Application use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies?
No. The Application does not use AI technologies to process your data or provide features.
5 Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Your personal data is never shared with third parties. Only aggregated, anonymized usage data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application.
The Service Provider may disclose information only in these circumstances:
- As required by law
- To protect rights & safety
- To investigate fraud
- With trusted providers
6 What are my opt-out rights?
You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
7 What is the data retention policy?
All data is stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not store your personal data on any server.
Automatically collected usage data is retained for up to 24 months and may be stored in aggregate form.
If you'd like to request deletion of your local data, you can simply delete the Application from your device. For any additional requests, contact [email protected]
8 How does the Application address children's privacy?
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy.

9 How is your information kept secure?
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain.
We limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application.
Although we endeavor to provide reasonable security, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
10 How will you be informed of changes to this Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
11 How do you give your consent?
By using the Application, you consent to the local processing of your data on your device as set forth in this Privacy Policy. All your data remains stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any external server.
